It is a style of yoga where we hold each pose for five or more breaths without doing Sun Salutation. The class is offered at the beginner and intermediate levels.
It is beneficial for people who:
Are beginner to intermediate practitioners and want to learn the poses.
Want the challenge of doing Vinyasa yoga or Sun Salutation, yet have some conditions like a wrist problem.
Are looking to release chronic pain. Especially in private classes, the teacher has the opportunity to focus on special poses to help his or her student be able to concentrate.
Are looking to increase strength and build strong muscles.
Are looking to work on balance.
