Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga. We can do the poses sitting on a chair or standing on the ground and using a chair for support.

 

 It is beneficial for people who:

 

  • Have chronic pain such as knee, wrist, shoulder and back pain.

 

  • Are overweight.

 

  • Are suffering from conditions such as osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis or carpal tunnel syndrome with pain in the wrist. 

 

  • Are looking to increase flexibility and have better balance.  Chair yoga is not just for elderly people or people who have pain. 

 

  • Are looking to learn some poses with a chair to use in the workplace.
